Russian interpretation demand grew sharply after 2022. We staff immigration-court hearings (including U4U applicants), asylum interviews, hospital visits and family-court matters.
Typical Russian bookings
Trainings we interpret
Employers book an interpreter in the room for these four kinds of training, so every employee can follow the trainer. Tell us the address and the room when you book.
OSHA expects safety training to be given in a language and vocabulary workers understand. The trainer pauses every few sentences, and the interpreter interprets each part for the workers who speak the language.
The trainer explains the controls, the steps and the warnings before workers use a machine. Send the operating manual with the booking, so the interpreter learns the names of the parts first.
Kitchen and food plant staff learn the rules for handwashing, temperatures and cleaning. The interpreter interprets the lesson and the workers' questions, and the lesson outline in the booking notes helps with the terms.
The classroom portion of forklift training goes over the rules and the safe operating steps. Book the classroom hours, and the interpreter interprets the lesson and the workers' questions.
In-person training
Trainings are usually held in a classroom or training room at the employer's site, with the whole group together. When workers who speak another language sit in that room, the interpreter sits with them and interprets each part as the trainer pauses. In-person interpreting suits a group that shares one room and one language. The interpreter reports to the address you give.

The trainer teaches the lesson and answers questions. The employees attend, listen and ask questions about what they hear. A supervisor may sit in on the training. The interpreter works with one language per booking, so a training for workers who speak two other languages needs two bookings, one for each language.
The interpreter's job is to give the workers the same lesson an English-speaking group would get. The trainer says a few sentences and stops, and the interpreter interprets that part in full, with the warnings and the numbers exactly as said. Workers' questions are interpreted back to the trainer. The interpreter is neutral, does not teach or add examples of their own, and keeps what they hear confidential.
A lesson in parts
A worker's question
Safety rules, machine controls and food safety limits come with names and numbers that must be interpreted exactly. Send the slides, the operating manual and any handouts with the booking, and the interpreter learns the terms before the day. The trainer still pauses every few sentences, so plan a longer agenda than the English version, and expect each worker's question to be interpreted before the trainer answers.
On-site, video or phone
An interpreter in the room suits a class that meets at your site with the trainer. Video or phone works for employees who cannot gather there.

Book an interpreter in the room for safety, equipment or forklift classroom training, where the group sits with the trainer.

Video fits a live course for employees who attend from different sites or from home.
Video-Remote Interpretation for Employee Training Sessions
Phone works for a short policy reminder to drivers or field staff who cannot gather in one place.
