On-site
The interpreter arrives at the address, introduces themselves to the adjuster or examiner, and stays at that address for the hours you booked.
In person, for the booked hours
The price shows before you book. Every session is covered by an NDA; clinical sessions are handled in line with HIPAA.

Interpretation is heavy for naturalization interviews, hospital and behavioral-health appointments, and Korean-American church-community legal matters, plus corporate depositions for chaebol-linked companies.
Typical Korean bookings
Visits insurers book
In-person bookings come from six kinds of visits. Each card links to the page for that session on-site.
The interpreter meets the adjuster and the policyholder at the home or business that was damaged, and interprets the questions asked at that address.
Typical appointments
The adjuster takes the statement at the claimant's home or the insurer's office, and the interpreter is named at the start of the recording.
Typical appointments
A medically credentialed interpreter is in the exam room at the examiner's office or clinic, and works for neither the insurer nor the claimant.
Typical appointments
A court-certified interpreter attends hearings held at the state workers' compensation board's office, once you tell us the state and the board.
Typical appointments
A court-certified interpreter sits with the insured at the attorney's office or the court reporter's office, and is sworn in on the record.
Typical appointments
A medically credentialed interpreter joins the examination that decides a disability benefit, at the clinic where it is held.

Claims in person
Claims sessions are held in person when the adjuster has to see the loss, when the doctor has to examine the claimant, or when the hearing is held at the board's office. The interpreter comes to the address you give us and works there with the claimant. Our dispatcher looks first for interpreters closest to that address, so enter the address where the visit takes place.

At a home inspection, the adjuster looks at the damage and asks the policyholder about it. At an examination, the doctor examines the claimant and takes the history. At a hearing, a judge hears the case, and attorneys speak for the worker and for the employer or insurer. The interpreter is in the room with the claimant and interprets for them.
The interpreter's job is to make the visit as clear for the claimant as it is for the adjuster. Each question and each answer is interpreted in full, without summaries. If the claimant asks about a decision, the question and the adjuster's reply are interpreted as they are said. The interpreter takes neither side, adds no advice of their own and keeps what they hear confidential.
At a home visit
Give the street address, the unit and the person who meets the interpreter, and add any entry rules, such as a gate code or a check-in desk, to the booking notes. The interpreter reports to one address. If the adjuster visits two properties in a day, book each address as its own session.
On-site, video or phone
An interpreter at the address suits visits where something has to be seen or examined. Video and phone work for conversations that need only voices or a screen.

An interpreter in person suits a damage inspection, a physical examination and a hearing held at the board's office.

Video works when the claimant has a quiet room and a device, and the adjuster or examiner is in another city.
Video-Remote Interpretation for Insurance Companies
Phone works for a first report or a status call, when voices are enough.

What you receive
Every file and session is covered by an NDA and sent over an encrypted connection. Clinical matters are handled in line with HIPAA.
If you also need translations
Certified translations come from the same account, delivered as a PDF that you can print for the visit.
Medical records and treatment history from abroad, translated into English before an examination so the doctor can read them.
Sworn statements and contracts in another language, translated into English before an examination under oath.
Financial statements and company records for a business or property loss, translated into English for the claim file.

Can't find it here?
We cover all 50 states. Coverage is densest in large metro areas, and away from them an interpreter can still be sent with more notice, so book as soon as the date is set.
You can ask for it in the booking notes. A booking is for the service, not for a particular interpreter, so we take the request into account and assign them when they are available.
Cancellation is in writing. The refund is full more than seven days before the session, 75% from seven days down to 48 hours before, and none in the last 48 hours.
By the hour, for the hours you book, and the total shows before you pay. Book the whole interview or exam, because the interpreter is reserved for the full booking and unused time is not refunded.
At least 48 to 72 hours ahead, and earlier if you can.
70 languages. Russian, Korean, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Spanish and Mandarin are the easiest to schedule, and rare languages such as Burmese or Pashto need more notice.
Yes. Court-certified and medically credentialed Korean interpreters are assigned to legal and clinical matters — Federal Court Interpreter Certification, state court rosters, CCHI / NBCMI for medical. For community, educational and corporate settings we assign professionally trained interpreters matched to the subject.
