Sessions held online
Video interpreters for manufacturing companies for supplier calls, negotiations, audits and trainings
Manufacturers with plants, suppliers and customers in different places often meet online. Each card with a link goes to the page for that session by video.
Supplier and customer calls
The interpreter joins as a guest when your team meets a supplier, a customer or a plant in another place.
What to know about video interpreters at a manufacturer
When video is used
Manufacturers work with plants, suppliers and customers in different places, so many sessions are already held on a call. The interpreter joins that call as a guest, on the platform your team uses. Video is also the choice when no interpreter for the language works near your office, since our video interpreters join from anywhere in the US. Documents and presentations are shared on screen as in any other meeting.
Who takes part
Your managers or engineers lead calls with suppliers and customers, who join from their own sites. In a negotiation, the commercial teams of both sides join the same call. In a training, the trainer presents on screen and pauses for the interpreter, and employees watch from their plant. The interpreter is one more guest on the call.

The interpreter's role
The interpreter makes a call between two languages as clear as a call in one. Each speaker finishes a thought, the interpreter says it in the other language, and the answer comes back the same way. Prices, quantities and dates are interpreted exactly, and the interpreter keeps what is said confidential and adds no advice of their own.
Before the call

Part names and drawings
Send the part list, the drawings and the product names with the booking. The interpreter prepares the technical terms before the call, so a supplier review or a technical session does not stop for every part number shown on screen.
On-site, video or phone
Choosing between video, on-site and phone for a manufacturer
Video works for sessions where each side joins from its own site. In person or by phone is better in the cases below.
On-site
Book an interpreter in person for a supplier audit that walks the plant, or for a visiting delegation at one of your sites.
Choose the date and start time, the language, the platform and the kind of session, such as a negotiation or a training. The price for the booked hours shows right away.
Place your order
Pay online to confirm. In your dashboard, add the meeting link, the agenda and the names of the people on the call.
Dispatcher runs and assigns an interpreter
Our dispatcher assigns an interpreter who has interpreted this kind of meeting before and confirms the name to you before the session.
Join your session
The interpreter joins your link as a guest when the booking starts and remains for the hours you booked.
What you receive
The interpreter's name ahead of the session, in your dashboard and by email.
The meeting link stored in your project, or a Texliff room that opens in the browser.
Bookings for every plant and team in one dashboard, under your company's name.
Every file and session is covered by an NDA and sent over an encrypted connection. Clinical matters are handled in line with HIPAA.
Questions about video interpreters for manufacturers
The ones we hear most often, answered by our dispatch and project-management teams.
Can't find it here?
01Which platforms can the interpreter join?
Your team can use Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet, or the Texliff room. Without a link of your own, we create one and add it to the project.
02Can one interpreter join a training for several plants?
Yes, when the plants join one link and speak the same language. A plant whose crew speaks another language needs its own booking.
03Do we need a separate booking for each supplier call?
Yes, each session is its own booking with a date and a start time. Ask for the same interpreter each time, and we assign them whenever they are available.
04How is a video session priced?
You pay by the hour for the hours booked, with the total shown first. Negotiations and trainings take longer in two languages, so book more time than you would in English.
05Can the interpreter join a call with people in other countries?
Yes. The interpreter joins from the US, and the other people join from wherever they are, on the same link.
06What if a call needs two other languages?
A call with two other languages needs two bookings on the same link, one interpreter for each language.
07Which languages are available for video calls?
70 languages. Mandarin, Korean, Spanish, Russian and French are the easiest to schedule, and a rare language needs more lead time.
08Are your Swahili interpreters certified?
Yes. Court-certified and medically credentialed Swahili interpreters are assigned to legal and clinical matters — Federal Court Interpreter Certification, state court rosters, CCHI / NBCMI for medical. For community, educational and corporate settings we assign professionally trained interpreters matched to the subject.
