Varieties
Burmese is distinct from Chin, Karen, Rohingya, Kachin and other Myanmar languages. Refugee cases often require specific language (e.g. Zomi, Falam, Karenni) which we source separately.
Meetings agencies hold online
Video interpreters for real estate agencies for consultations, contract reviews and lease meetings
All six of these meetings can be held by video. The card for offers and contracts links to its own page by video.
Buyer consultations
The agent explains the steps of buying, and the interpreter interprets for the buyer and the agent in both directions.
What to know about video interpreters for real estate clients
When video is used
An agency books a video interpreter when the agent, the client and the other party are in different places, or when no interpreter for the client's language works near the agency. The interpreter joins from anywhere in the US as a guest on the agency's Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet link. Documents such as the offer, the lease or the inspection report are shared on screen, so everyone reads the same page.
Who takes part
The agent or property manager explains the transaction and answers questions. The buyer, seller or tenant asks about the terms in their own language. Sometimes a representative of the other side, such as a listing agent or a landlord, joins as well. The interpreter interprets for everyone on the call.

The interpreter's role
The interpreter helps the client follow the transaction as well as an English speaker would. The agent's explanations, the client's questions and every term of the document are interpreted in full, in both directions. The interpreter stays neutral, keeps the client's finances and plans confidential, and does not recommend a price, a property or a decision.

Documents on screen
Share the contract, the lease or the report on screen, so the client can follow along while each term is interpreted. Add the property address, the names of the parties and the key terms to the booking notes, so the interpreter can prepare them before the call.

Questions from real estate agencies about video interpreters
The ones we hear most often, answered by our dispatch and project-management teams.
Can't find it here?
01Which video platforms can the interpreter join?
Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and the Texliff room. Add your link to the booking, or ask us to create a Texliff room link.
02Can the client join by phone while the agent is on video?
No. Everyone joins the same way. If the client has no video, book a phone interpreter and everyone dials in to the number in the confirmation.
03Can we book the same interpreter for a client's whole search?
Name the interpreter in the booking notes. We book the service rather than a particular person, so we take the request into account and assign them when they are available.
04Is the client's financial information kept private?
Every session is covered by an NDA, and connections are encrypted.
05How is a video consultation priced?
Pricing is hourly, with the total for your booked hours shown before you pay. Book enough hours to go through the whole document, because each clause is said in both languages, and unused time is not refunded.
06Which languages do you cover by video?
70 languages. Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, Portuguese, Korean and Vietnamese are the easiest to schedule, and rare languages need more notice.
07Are your Burmese interpreters certified?
Yes. Court-certified and medically credentialed Burmese interpreters are assigned to legal and clinical matters — Federal Court Interpreter Certification, state court rosters, CCHI / NBCMI for medical. For community, educational and corporate settings we assign professionally trained interpreters matched to the subject.
