Agency sessions in person
Agencies book an interpreter in person when workers gather at one address, such as the branch for an orientation or the client's site for a training. In person also works when forms are filled out at the table during the session. The interpreter comes to the address you give us, and our dispatcher looks first for interpreters closest to it.

At a first-day orientation, the recruiter or an onboarding staff member explains the forms and policies, and the new workers listen and ask questions. At a site training, a trainer presents to the group. At an HR meeting, the HR representative and the worker talk. The interpreter sits with the workers and interprets for them.
The interpreter's job is to give workers the same clear information an English-speaking hire gets. Each explanation is interpreted in full, and each question from a worker is interpreted back, with nothing added or left out. At a site training, the trainer stops after every few sentences for the interpreter. The interpreter is neutral, keeps what they hear confidential, and does not advise a worker on pay or whether to sign.
At an orientation
At a site training
Put the site's check-in steps and safety gear rules in the booking notes, such as the gate, the badge desk and the contact who meets the interpreter. A training with an interpreter runs longer than the same training in English, so book the full length of the session and its breaks.
On-site, video or phone
An interpreter at the site suits sessions with forms to fill out or equipment to see. Remote settings work for talks that need only voices or a screen.

An interpreter in person suits first-day orientations, site trainings and any session where workers sign forms at the table.

Video works for workers placed in other cities, or for a language with no interpreter near the branch.
Video-Remote Interpretation for Staffing Agencies
Phone works for short check-ins, when nobody needs to see a form or a screen.

You can ask for it in the booking notes. A booking is for the service, not for a particular interpreter, so we take the request into account and assign them when they are available.
