Typical Turkish bookings
Visits we interpret
A telehealth visit is held while the provider and the patient are in different places, and the interpreter joins from a third. Clinics book video for the kinds of visits below.
After a first visit, the provider checks how the patient is doing and changes the plan if needed. The patient can describe symptoms and side effects from home, in their own language, without a relative translating.
The prescriber reviews the medicines, the doses and any side effects, and explains changes. Medicine names and doses are interpreted exactly, so add the medicine list to the notes.
A counselor or a psychiatric provider sees the patient by video, and the interpreter interprets what the patient says as it is said, without softening it. Recurring sessions are booked one by one, and you can ask for the same interpreter.
The provider goes over blood work or scans with the patient and answers questions about the next step. Name the test in the notes, and the interpreter prepares the terms.
Telehealth by video
In a telehealth appointment the provider is in one place and the patient in another, for example at home. The clinic's own telehealth platform carries the visit, and the interpreter joins it as a guest from a third place. Interpreters join from anywhere in the US, so the language does not have to be spoken near the clinic or near the patient. Choose video when the provider wants to see the patient, and phone when audio is enough.

The provider, a doctor, nurse practitioner or other clinician, leads the visit from the clinic or another office. The patient joins from home or wherever they are and describes how they feel. A family member can sit next to the patient to help with the device and add details. The interpreter joins the same visit as a third participant and interprets between the provider and the patient.
On the screen, the interpreter's job is to make the visit as clear as a visit in one language. Everything the provider and the patient say is interpreted in full, in both directions. The interpreter is neutral and keeps what they hear private. They do not diagnose, advise on medicines or answer in the patient's place.
Provider to patient
Check before the visit that your telehealth platform can add a guest. Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet can. If yours cannot, we create a link in the Texliff room, which opens in the browser without an install, and you send that link to the patient.
On-site, video or phone
A telehealth visit is remote, so the interpreter joins by video or by phone. A visit in the clinic is a different booking.

For a visit in the clinic itself, book an on-site interpreter instead.

Video fits a visit where the provider needs to see the patient and both can use a screen.

Phone fits an audio-only visit, or a patient who has no camera, device or connection that holds video.

What you receive
Every file and session is covered by an NDA and sent over an encrypted connection. Clinical matters are handled in line with HIPAA.
If you also need translations
Certified translations come from the same account and are sent as a PDF in English that the provider can open during the visit.
Medical records from abroad, translated into English and sent to the provider before the visit, so the history is in front of them on the call.
Marriage and divorce certificates for a patient whose immigration case needs them in English.
Depositions and affidavits connected to an injury claim, translated into English for the lawyer on the case.
FAQ
The ones we hear most often, answered by our dispatch and project-management teams.
Can't find it here?
Yes. Add it in your dashboard once you have it, and the interpreter joins it at the booked time.
Clinical sessions are handled in line with HIPAA, and the interpreter works under an NDA. Connections are encrypted, and a BAA is available if you need one.
The interpreter is booked for the whole time, so the patient can rejoin the same link and carry on. Time lost to a dropped connection is part of the booked time.
No. One booking covers English and one other language. A visit that needs two other languages takes two bookings, one per language, and both can use the same link.
The total for the booked hours shows before you pay. Book a little longer than the slot on the schedule, because interpreted visits run longer and unused time is not refunded.
70 languages. Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Arabic, Russian and Haitian Creole are the easiest to schedule. Burmese, Pashto and other rare languages need more notice.
Yes. Court-certified and medically credentialed Turkish interpreters are assigned to legal and clinical matters — Federal Court Interpreter Certification, state court rosters, CCHI / NBCMI for medical. For community, educational and corporate settings we assign professionally trained interpreters matched to the subject.
