The interpreter joins from anywhere in the US as a guest on the agency's Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet link. Documents such as the offer, the lease or the inspection report are shared on screen, so everyone reads the same page.
The agent or property manager explains the transaction and answers questions. The buyer, seller or tenant asks about the terms in their own language. Sometimes a representative of the other side, such as a listing agent or a landlord, joins as well. The interpreter interprets for everyone on the call.
