Calls companies book
All six of these kinds of calls can be booked by phone. Each card links to the phone page for that session.
Everyone dials in at the booked time, and the interpreter interprets for both sides on the same call.
Appels types
Between meetings, the two teams call to settle the points still open, and the interpreter renders the figures and dates exactly.
Appels types
HR calls an employee who works in the field or at a remote site, and the interpreter keeps the call confidential.
Appels types
Before the start date, HR calls the new hire to explain the paperwork, and the interpreter interprets the call.
Appels types
A short policy briefing for drivers or field staff works by phone when there are no slides, with the trainer pausing every few sentences.
Appels types
Where the audit plan uses them, the auditor interviews workers by phone, and the interpreter also joins follow-up calls on corrective actions.

Company phone calls
A company books a phone interpreter for a call that is short and does not need anyone to look at a document, such as an order follow-up or a check-in with an employee in the field. Phone also works for a person who has no video, and for a language with no interpreter nearby, because the interpreter can dial in from anywhere.

Two sides are on the line. A manager, supervisor or HR staff member speaks for the company, and a supplier, customer or employee speaks another language. For a briefing, a trainer speaks to a group of employees who dial in from their own locations. The number in the confirmation is the one everyone dials, and the interpreter joins them there.
Without a picture, the call runs by turns. One person says a part and pauses, and the interpreter interprets it for the other side before the next person speaks. Figures and dates are interpreted exactly as spoken. The interpreter stays neutral, treats what they hear as confidential and leaves advice and opinions to the people on the call.
On a call
Send the order, the draft or the slides to everyone before the call, so each person has the same page in front of them. Read figures, dates and part numbers slowly, and put the names of the people on the call in the booking notes.
Sur place, par vidéo ou par téléphone
A phone call needs no link and no app. Choose the setting by whether the meeting needs anything shown on screen.

Book an interpreter in person for an orientation or a classroom training, where the group sits in one room.
Interprétation sur place pour grandes entreprises
Video is better when the call needs a draft, a slide or a plant floor on screen.
Interprétation à distance par vidéo pour grandes entreprises
Phone suits a short call to settle a point, check in with an employee or follow up on an order.

Vous ne trouvez pas la réponse ?
The number and the access code are in your confirmation, in the dashboard and by email. Forward them to the supplier, the customer or the employee.
If the call needs a draft or slides on screen, ask us to switch the booking to video. It depends on the interpreter's availability for that time.
Yes. Anyone can dial in from any phone, so an employee at a remote site joins with the number and the access code.
By the time you book, and the total shows before you pay. Book a little longer than the call would take in English, because the call runs by turns, and unused time is not refunded.
Once everyone is on the line, the interpreter can add a third party, for example a colleague at another site.
