Onde interpretamos

On-site interpreters for insurance claims at homes, businesses, adjuster offices and repair sites

The adjuster decides where to meet, and the interpreter reports to that address. Tell us the unit or suite, and anything a visitor has to do on arrival.

Homes after damage

The adjuster visits a home after a fire, a storm or a water leak and asks the owner or tenant what was lost. Put the street address, the unit and the parking in the notes.

Businesses after damage

After a fire or a water leak at a shop, restaurant or warehouse, the adjuster meets the owner or manager on site. Tell us the entrance to use and who to ask for.

The adjuster's office

A claimant who comes to the claims office sits down with the adjuster and the interpreter. Tell us the floor and where visitors check in, and add the adjuster's name so the interpreter knows who to ask for.

Body shops and repair sites

Some adjusters meet the vehicle owner at a body shop to go over the damage and the repair estimate. Give us the shop's address, not the adjuster's office, because the interpreter reports to the address in the booking.

Claim meetings in person

What to know about in-person claim meetings with an interpreter

When the interpreter comes in person

Adjusters meet claimants in person when the claim needs a look at the damage, or when the claimant has trouble following a call. An interpreter in the room works for a claimant who is not comfortable with a phone or video, or who is injured and cannot travel. When no interpreter for the language lives nearby, one may come from another city, and the quote shows the longer trip as its own line before you pay.

Who takes part

The adjuster leads the visit, looks at the damage and asks the questions. The claimant or policyholder explains what happened and what was lost. A family member, a public adjuster or an attorney may be present. The interpreter sits with the claimant and interprets for everyone in the room.

The interpreter's role

The interpreter's job is to make the meeting as clear as it would be in one language. The adjuster speaks to the claimant directly and pauses after each part, and the interpreter says it in the other language. Nothing is shortened and nothing is added. The interpreter stays neutral, keeps the meeting confidential and gives no opinion on the claim or the policy.

One address per booking

A booking is for one address, and the interpreter reports there. Add the unit, the parking and any gate or front desk to the booking notes, along with the claim number and the type of loss, so the notes reach the interpreter before the day.

Presencial, por vídeo ou por telefone

Choosing between on-site, video and phone for an insurance claim

An interpreter in person suits a meeting at a property or an office. Video or phone can work for the rest of the claim.

Como funciona

How to book an on-site interpreter for an insurance claim

Enter the date, start time, the address of the meeting and the claimant's language. The price for the booked hours shows right away.

  2. Faça o pedido

Pay online to confirm. Add notes to the booking, such as the claim number, the unit, parking and who will be there.

Our dispatcher assigns an interpreter who has interpreted insurance claims before, starting with those closest to the address, and confirms the name to you.

  4. O intérprete chega ao seu local

The interpreter finds the adjuster at the address and stays for the hours you booked.

O que você recebe

  • The interpreter's name, confirmed before the day.
  • No separate travel line when the address is inside the interpreter's metro area.
  • Your notes kept in the project, with a confirmation in your dashboard and by email.

Perguntas frequentes

Questions about on-site interpreters for insurance claims

01Can the interpreter go to a second address after the first visit?

Each address is a separate booking with its own start time, so book the second stop as a new session. The interpreter works at the address named in the booking.

02What if the visit has to be rescheduled?

Cancellation is in writing. You get a full refund more than seven days before the visit, 75% between seven days and 48 hours before, and no refund in the last 48 hours.

03How is an on-site claim meeting priced?

Per hour, for the hours you book, and the total shows before you pay. Book the whole visit, since the interpreter is reserved for the full booking and unused time is not refunded.

04How far ahead should we book?

At least 48 to 72 hours ahead, and earlier if you can.

05Which languages are easiest to schedule for a home visit?

70 languages. Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Arabic and Russian are the easiest to schedule in large metro areas. Rare languages, and addresses outside the large metros, need more notice.

06Seus intérpretes de Espanhol são certificados?

Sim.
