Belarusian divorce certificates are issued by the civil registry (ZAGS) offices of Belarus, the bureaus that also register marriages and births. If a court granted the divorce, the court's judgment may sit in the file as a separate paper. The authorities advise against taking originals out of the country, so many people hold a ZAGS copy in the Form-DIZ format instead. A copy and an original can both be translated, and the U.S. office usually wants whichever shows the divorce as registered. We translate the version you were issued, complete and front and back where the back carries anything.

Texliff's certified Belarusian translations are accepted by USCIS, the National Visa Center, state agencies, DMVs, schools and universities, courts and more. For a prior marriage, USCIS officers look for the date the divorce was registered and for both spouses' names matching the petition and the passport. Clerks issuing a marriage license read the same date. Because Belarusian names carry a patronymic, the translation keeps all three name elements for each spouse. The signed statement of accuracy is what each office files with the translation.

Upload a photo or a scan of the divorce certificate, front and back. The word count sets the price, and you see it before you order. A native Belarusian translator who works on civil records does the translation, and a second linguist reviews the names, the registration date and the record numbers. You follow the order in your dashboard. The signed PDF comes with a Certificate of Accuracy, and a mailed hard copy is available on request. Rush options are available.
Each spouse's given name, patronymic and family name are spelled the way the passport spells them. The day-first dates for the marriage, the divorce and the registration become unambiguous English dates. The certificate series and number, the act record number and the name of the ZAGS office are copied exactly. If the record says a spouse took back a former family name, that line is translated in full. Stamps and the registrar's signature are described where they sit, and any entry on the back is translated too.

Yes. Every certified translation includes a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy meeting USCIS requirements, and the same format is accepted by courts, universities, and licensing boards.
Names include a patronymic between the given and family name; all three elements are preserved. Belarusian is written in Cyrillic, and many records are issued in Russian or bilingually; we translate both and transliterate names consistently.
Dates are day-first and are re-expressed unambiguously.
