Kazakh divorce certificates we translate come from Kazakhstan, where the civil registry (ZAGS/AHAJ) offices under the Ministry of Justice register divorces. The Divorce Certificate is a small colored document, and it is issued only after the court decision has entered into force. So many files hold two papers, the court decision and the certificate, and they carry different dates. The certificate is usually the one a U.S. office wants as proof that a prior marriage ended. If you also hold the court decision, send it too. We translate the certificate you were issued, complete, front and back where the back carries anything.

Texliff's certified Kazakh translations are accepted by USCIS, the National Visa Center, state agencies, DMVs, schools and universities, courts and more. USCIS officers look for the date the divorce took effect and match each spouse's name, patronymic included, against the marriage record and the passport. Courts and clerks read the issuing office and the date of the court decision. Months are spelled out, because the record writes dates day first. The signed statement of accuracy is what each office files with the translation.

Take a photo or a scan of the divorce certificate, front and back, and upload it. The word count sets the price and it shows before you order. A native Kazakh translator who works on civil records does the translation, and a second linguist reviews the names, the dates and the issuing office. Follow the order in your dashboard. The signed PDF comes with a Certificate of Accuracy, a mailed hard copy is available on request, and rush options are available.
Each spouse's name keeps every element in the registered order, including the patronymic ending, and is spelled the way the passport spells it. A woman's surname after the divorce is translated as written, so the reviewer can link it to her earlier records. Dates are day first and become unambiguous English dates, and the date of the court decision stays separate from the registration date. The certificate number, the act record number and the registry office's name are copied exactly. Seals and stamps are described where they sit.

Yes. Every certified translation includes a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy meeting USCIS requirements, and the same format is accepted by courts, universities, and licensing boards.
Names may carry patronymic elements (-uly/-qyzy or -ovich/-ovna); every element is preserved in the registered order. Kazakh records appear in Cyrillic — often bilingually with Russian — while the country transitions to a Latin alphabet; we translate all of it and transliterate names consistently.
Dates are day-first and are converted to unambiguous English dates.
