A Croatian divorce certificate is a court decree, not a registry extract. In Croatia a divorce is decided by a municipal civil court (Građanski općinski sud), and the paper is the Rješenje o razvodu. The court issues only a certified copy of that decree, with its seal, so there is no short certificate to hold instead. Only a divorce decided by a civil court counts. Records from Bosnia and Herzegovina arrive as a typewritten Presuda o razvodu braka from a civil court. We translate the version you were issued, complete, and front and back where the back carries anything.

Texliff's certified Croatian translations are accepted by USCIS, the National Visa Center, state agencies, DMVs, schools and universities, courts and more. For a Croatian divorce certificate, USCIS officers look for the date the decree became final and for both spouses' names matching the marriage record and the passports. Courts and clerks read the case number and the name of the court. The translation describes the court seal and any clerk's certification where they sit, and spells out the month in every date. The signed statement of accuracy is what each office files with it.

Take a photo or a scan of every page of the decree, with the seal in the frame. The word count sets the price, and you see it before ordering. A native Croatian translator who works on court and civil records does the translation. A second linguist reviews the names, the case number, the finality date and the seal. You follow the order in your dashboard and receive a signed PDF with the Certificate of Accuracy. A mailed hard copy is available on request, and rush options are available.
Both spouses' names are spelled as the decree and the passports spell them, with č, ć, đ, š and ž kept, including a maiden name the decree restores. Dates written day first become unambiguous English dates, and the date the decree became final is checked twice. The case number, the court's name and the clerk's title are carried across exactly. The court seal and the certification stamp are described where they sit. Custody and support terms are translated in full, because courts abroad act on those lines.

Yes. Every certified translation includes a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy meeting USCIS requirements, and the same format is accepted by courts, universities, and licensing boards.
Certificates are issued as extracts from the state registers; names keep their diacritics exactly as registered. Croatian uses the Latin alphabet with č, ć, đ, š, and ž — all preserved in names exactly as issued.
Dates are day-first and are re-expressed unambiguously.
