Turkish divorce records come from Turkey and from Cyprus. In Turkey a family court ends the marriage, and the result is then entered in the civil registration directorate (Nüfus Müdürlüğü), so you may hold the court judgment, an extract of the vital record (Vukuatlı Nüfus Kayıt Örneği) that now shows you as divorced, or both. In Cyprus the Bosanma Belgesi comes from the family or district court that ended the marriage and carries the judge's seal. A U.S. office usually wants the judgment with its finality note. We translate the version you were issued, complete, front and back where the back carries anything.

Texliff's certified Turkish translations are accepted by USCIS, the National Visa Center, state agencies, DMVs, schools and universities, courts and more. USCIS officers look for the date the divorce became final, which a Turkish judgment records in its kesinleşme şerhi, and they match both spouses' names against the marriage record and the passport. Courts read the case number, the court's name and any custody or support terms. Clerks need the decree date before a new marriage license. The signed statement of accuracy is what each of them files with the translation.

Take a photo or a scan of the judgment or certificate, every page and the back if it has writing. The word count sets the price and it shows before you order. A native Turkish translator who works on court and civil records translates it, a second linguist reviews the names, the dates and the case numbers, and you follow each step in your dashboard. You receive the signed PDF with a Certificate of Accuracy. A mailed hard copy is available on request, and rush options are available.
Each spouse's name is spelled as the passport spells it, with ı, İ, ş and ğ kept, and a restored previous surname is shown as ruled. Dates written day first, such as 12.05.1990, become unambiguous English dates. The T.C. kimlik no, the esas and karar numbers and the court's name are copied exactly. The finality note, the judge's signature and the court seal are described where they sit, and the marital status line on a registry extract is translated word for word.

Yes. Every certified translation includes a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy meeting USCIS requirements, and the same format is accepted by courts, universities, and licensing boards.
Turkish records are issued from the central civil registry and carry the national identity number (T.C. kimlik no); identifiers transfer exactly as printed. Turkish uses the Latin alphabet with ç, ğ, ı, ö, ş, and ü — including the dotless ı, which must never be silently converted to i in a name.
Dates are day-first (12.05.1990) and are re-expressed unambiguously in English.
