In the Czech Republic a court ends the marriage, so the record most people hold is the court's judgment on the divorce (rozsudek o rozvodu manželství) and not a certificate from a registry office. The court delivers an original to each spouse when it has an address, and either spouse can later ask the court for an additional copy. The marriage itself is recorded by the local town hall registry (matrika), which is a separate document. U.S. offices usually want the judgment with the stamp showing the date it became final. We translate the judgment as issued, every page and stamp.

Texliff's certified Czech translations are accepted by USCIS, the National Visa Center, state agencies, DMVs, schools and universities, courts and more. USCIS officers look for the date the divorce became final and match both spouses' names against the marriage certificate and the passport. Because Czech women's surnames take the -ová ending, the translation keeps each name exactly as the judgment writes it. Clerks and courts read the case number and the rulings on custody, support and property. The signed statement of accuracy is what each of them files with the translation.

and the employers, banks and insurers that ask for a certified translation
Take a photo or a scan of the judgment, every page, with the court's stamps inside the frame. The word count sets the price and it shows before you order. A native Czech translator who works on court and civil records translates it, and a second linguist reviews the names, the case number and the finality date. You follow the order in your dashboard. The signed PDF comes with a Certificate of Accuracy, a mailed hard copy can be requested, and rush options are available.
Names are spelled the way the passport spells them, and each spouse's surname stays as registered, including -ová endings for women. Day-first dates become unambiguous English dates, and the stamp that shows when the judgment took legal effect is translated where it sits. The case number (spisová značka) and the court's name are copied exactly. Rulings on children, support and property are translated in full, because that is where U.S. offices and courts find what the divorce changed.

Can't find it here?
Yes. Every certified translation includes a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy meeting USCIS requirements, and the same format is accepted by courts, universities, and licensing boards.
Czech female surnames typically take the -ová ending; the translation keeps each person’s surname exactly as registered rather than normalizing family members to one form. Czech uses the Latin alphabet with háčky and accents (č, ř, ž, á) — all preserved in names.
Dates are day-first and are converted to unambiguous English dates.
