Most Uzbek divorce records we translate were issued in Uzbekistan, and there are two kinds. Where the spouses agree, the civil registry office (FHDYo, also called ZAGS) in the district or city registers the divorce and issues a divorce certificate. Where a judge decides, the court issues a divorce decree, and that decree is the main record. Current registry certificates generally carry a QR code, a wet seal and an official's signature, and older certificates stay valid. U.S. offices ask for whichever one proves the prior marriage ended. We translate the version you were issued, complete, front and back.

Texliff's certified Uzbek translations are accepted by USCIS, the National Visa Center, state agencies, DMVs, schools and universities, courts and more. USCIS officers read the date the divorce took effect and match both spouses' names, including the patronymic, against the marriage certificate and the passport. County clerks check the same date before they issue a new marriage license. Courts read the registry or case number to confirm the record. The signed statement of accuracy is what each of them files with the translation.

and the employers, banks and insurers that ask for a certified translation
Take a photo or a scan of the divorce certificate or decree, front and back, and upload it. The word count sets the price, and it shows before you order. A native Uzbek translator who works on civil records translates it. A second linguist then reviews the names, the date of the divorce and the registry numbers. You follow each step in your dashboard. The signed PDF comes with a Certificate of Accuracy, a hard copy is mailed on request, and rush options are available.
Each name keeps every element the record gives, including the patronymic written with o'g'li or qizi, or ending in -ovich or -ovna, and it is spelled the way the passport spells it. Every date is spelled out with its month, so no one reads it month first. The date of registration or the date the court decree took effect is rendered exactly, since that is the date USCIS reads. Registry entry numbers, case numbers, the QR code, the wet seal and the official's title are copied or described where they sit.

Yes. Every certified translation includes a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy meeting USCIS requirements, and the same format is accepted by courts, universities, and licensing boards.
Names may include patronymic elements (o‘g‘li/qizi or -ovich/-ovna); every element is preserved. Uzbek records appear in both the Latin and Cyrillic alphabets depending on their era — we translate both and romanize names consistently.
Dates are day-first and are re-expressed unambiguously.
