Bulgarian divorce records come from Bulgaria, where a regional court grants the divorce. The main paper is the court judgment (sadebno reshenie), often several pages long, with the court's round seal and the judge's signature. The municipal civil registration office may also issue a short certificate or extract that shows the divorce. The extract and the judgment are not interchangeable, and some filings ask for both. A judgment may carry a stamp that says it has come into force. We translate the judgment or the extract as you were issued it, complete, with the back where it carries anything.

Texliff's certified Bulgarian translations are accepted by USCIS, the National Visa Center, state agencies, DMVs, schools and universities, courts and more. For a prior marriage, USCIS officers look for the date the divorce took effect, so the translation carries the in-force date from the judgment exactly. They also match both spouses' names to the passport and the marriage certificate. Courts read the custody and support terms, and clerks handling a remarriage want the case number and the name of the court. The signed statement of accuracy is filed with the translation.

and the employers, banks and insurers that ask for a certified translation
Upload a photo or a scan of the judgment or the extract, every page, front and back. The word count sets the price and it shows before you order. A native Bulgarian translator who works on court and civil records translates it, and a second linguist checks the names, the case number and the date the divorce took effect. You follow each step in your dashboard. The signed PDF arrives with a Certificate of Accuracy, and a mailed hard copy is available on request. Rush options are available.
Each spouse's name keeps all three parts, first name, middle name and surname, spelled the way the passport spells it. Each date is converted from day first and the month is written out. On a Bulgarian divorce certificate or judgment, the case number, the court and the year are copied exactly, and the line saying the judgment is in force is translated as ruled. The court's round seal, the judge's signature and any stamp of the court secretary are described where they sit. Custody and support terms are translated in full, with amounts stated and the currency named, such as leva.

Yes. Every certified translation includes a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy meeting USCIS requirements, and the same format is accepted by courts, universities, and licensing boards.
Bulgarian names typically carry a patronymic-style middle name; the translation preserves all three elements. Bulgarian is written in Cyrillic; names are transliterated under Bulgaria’s official romanization rules, matched to passport spellings when available.
Dates are day-first and are converted to unambiguous English dates.
