Pashto divorce certificates reach us from Pakistan and Afghanistan. In Pakistan, Union Councils, Municipal Corporations, Cantonment Boards and, in Islamabad, the Capital Development Authority register divorces and issue the certificate. Since 2001 the format has been computerized across the provinces, but five districts of Azad Kashmir still issue manual divorce certificates. A certificate printed on rupee paper is not accepted by U.S. immigration offices. In Afghanistan, courts and diplomatic missions issue family documents, and the paper varies a great deal by issuer. We translate the version you were issued, complete, front and back where the back carries anything.

Texliff's certified Pashto translations are accepted by USCIS, the National Visa Center, state agencies, DMVs, schools and universities, courts and more. For a spouse-based petition after an earlier marriage, officers look for the date the divorce took effect and for both spouses' names matching the passport and the marriage record. Clerks issuing a new marriage license read the same date. Courts reading a support or custody order check the case number and the names of the parties. The signed statement of accuracy is what each of them files with the translation.

Take a photo or a scan of the divorce certificate, front and back, and upload it. The word count sets the price, and you see it before you order. A native Pashto translator who handles civil records does the translation, and a second linguist reviews the names, the dates and the case numbers. Follow the order in your dashboard. You receive the signed PDF with a Certificate of Accuracy, and a mailed hard copy on request. Rush options are available.
Both spouses' names are spelled the way their passports spell them, and a father's name or tribal name is kept where the record gives it. Dates may follow the Solar Hijri or Hijri calendar, so the translation converts each one and states the Gregorian date clearly. The registration number, the date of the talaq or the court order and the name of the Union Council or court are copied exactly. Seals and the registrar's signature are described where they sit, and handwritten entries are translated or marked illegible.

Yes. Every certified translation includes a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy meeting USCIS requirements, and the same format is accepted by courts, universities, and licensing boards.
Records may state age or approximate dates rather than exact ones; the translation renders exactly what the record says without inventing precision. Pashto is written right-to-left in an extended Perso-Arabic script; names are romanized consistently, following passport or prior-filing spellings where they exist.
Documents may be dated in the Solar Hijri or Hijri calendar — every date is converted to its Gregorian equivalent, stated clearly.
